1. That whatever you care about is  fair game to write about
2. Details draw the reader in
3. a) more opinions than facts
    b) connect the subject you are talking about to a personal experience 
    c) use all five senses

It helps me, and I'm sure others, feel like they aren't alone in their battle in their mind.        In the song "Dreams" NF talks about how on many sad days he would push his friends away and try to do it himself. The last few lines in "Dreams" are ," Would I move back? Mm, not in a million, but I appreciate the memories we had.  I know you've been callin', sorry I never call back.  I know I've been distant, you know I never meant that..."        NF is relating to those with hard problems in life and what helps/ helped him to be okay.
